On the Mumbai CSMT Weekly Express (12870) and the Gitaanjali Express (12860), four employees lacked police verification records, and unauthorized water brands were confiscated. Food preparation was also taking place in the pantry car, which is prohibited. The inspection also revealed improper maintenance of employee attendance records, and cleanliness and hygiene were found to be lacking. ACM Vineet Kumar stated that strict action would be taken against the pantry car operators.
