Several trains were diverted, including the Vasco Da Gama-Tirupati/Hyderabad express (17420/17022), Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin express (12779), and Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Da Gama express (12780). The Yesvantpur-Vasco Da Gama (17309) and Vasco Da Gama-Yesvantpur (17310) trains were canceled due to the derailment. Senior SWR officials are overseeing the restoration work.

Railway has extended the run of the New Tinsukia-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special (Train No. 05952/05951) until October 31, 2024 (New Tinsukia-SMVT Bengaluru) and November 4, 2024 (SMVT Bengaluru-New Tinsukia), adding 18 more trips each. Two additional General Second-class coaches will be attached to these trains. North Central Railway has revised the departure timings for Train No. 12779/12780 Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Da Gama Express at Mathura Junction, effective from July 5, 2024. These changes are part of Indian Railways' ongoing efforts to enhance passenger services and accommodate growing travel demand.

North Central Railway ne Train No. 12779/12780 Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Da Gama Express ke departure timings mein Mathura Junction par July 5, 2024 se changes kiye hai.
