October 23rd and 25th, the East Central Railway has canceled several trains originating from Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Visakhapatnam, including those passing through Gwalior. The cancelled trains include 18478 Yog Nagri Rishikesh-Puri Utkal Express on Wednesday, 08475 Puri Festival Express on October 24th, 20807 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakund Express on October 25th, and the Nizamuddin-Puri Festival Express on October 26th. While the Gwalior-Barauni Mail (11123) was initially cancelled from October 23rd to 26th, it will now operate regularly on Wednesday and Thursday. Similarly, the Barauni-Gwalior train (11124) was cancelled from October 24th to 27th, but will now run on October 24th and 25th as per schedule.

Chapra, Hajipur, and Lucknow. The trains were initially partially restored from October 16th to 22nd for 11123 Gwalior-Barauni Express and from October 17th to 23rd for 11124 Barauni-Gwalior Express. The railway is currently conducting pre-non interlocking work on the Gorakhpur-Gonda rail section between Domingarh-Jagatbela and on the Siwan-Gorakhpur rail section between Kusmhi-Gorakhpur Cantt-Gorakhpur. This work will continue from October 14th to 25th, with non-interlocking work scheduled for October 26th and 27th. Consequently, several express and clone trains are being operated on alternative routes, including 15707 Amrapali Express, 02569 Clone Special, 02563 Clone Special, 14673 Shaheed Express, 13019 Bagh Express, 15708 Amrapali Express, 13020 Bagh Express, and 14674 Shaheed Express.
