The Southeast Railway has canceled one train and delayed several others due to a block in the Chakradharpur division for launching an RCC slab. This disruption affects trains passing through Chhattisgarh.

Southeast Railway ne ek train cancel kar diya hai aur kai train late chalengi kyunki Chakradharpur division mein RCC slab launch karne ke liye block laga hai. Isse Chhattisgarh se jaane wali trainon par asar padega.

on June 12th due to a block at level crossing 221 in the Kansbahal-Rajgangpur section for the launching of RCC slabs. This block will also affect other trains, causing delays. The 22511 LTT-Kamakhya Express will be delayed by seven hours, the 18478 Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express will be delayed by 3.45 hours, the 12261 CSMT-Howrah Duronto Express will be delayed by four hours, and the 12262 Howrah-CSMT Duronto Express will be delayed by seven hours. These delays will result in the late arrival of trains at Bilaspur and other stations.

On June 11, 2024, the LTT- Kamakhya Express (Train No. 22511) will depart 7 hours late, the Yog Nagri Rishikesh Express (Train No. 18478) will depart 3 hours and 45 minutes late, and the CSMT-Howrah Duronto Express (Train No. 12261) will depart 4 hours late. On June 12, 2024, the Howrah-CSMT Duronto Express (Train No. 12262) will depart 7 hours late. (19 hours late), 12767 Huzur Sahib Nanded Santragachhi Express (4 hours late), 12859 Mumbai-Howrah Gitaanjali Express (2.5 hours late), 13287 (nearly 2 hours late), 20821 Pune Santragachhi Humsafar (15 hours late), 18478 Yognagari Rishikesh Puri Utkal Express (nearly 6 hours late), and 18110 Itwari Tata Nagar (nearly 6 hours late) faced delays. The delays have led to frequent rescheduling of trains like 08479, 18478, 12022, 12129, and 12130, causing further inconvenience to passengers. Furthermore, MEMU trains operating within the division, such as 08145 Tata-Rourkela MEMU and 08163 Chakradharpur-Rourkela MEMU, are also facing delays, taking 4-5 hours to cover the 101 km distance between Chakradharpur and Rourkela, often arriving at Rourkela station after 10 pm, causing inconvenience to passengers in reaching home due to lack of transport options. Local organizations have submitted petitions to the railway, but there has been no substantial improvement in the train situation, leading to growing public dissatisfaction.
