Heavy rain caused a rockfall on the railway track between Kanraon and Tati, disrupting train services between late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Passengers travelling on the 07052 Raxaul-Hyderabad Special train, including students, were stranded after the diversion. Some passengers disembarked at Gundavihari station and were helped by a goods train guard to reach Muri and then to Ranchi via the Islampore-Hatia Express.
