Monday's departure from LTT is always right time (because of 32 hrs turn-around-time for Monday departure)
Thursday's departure from LTT gets rescheduled most of the times (especially during winter season) because TAT is only 8 h in this case.....
Same applies for 12172 also i.e. Tuesday departure has good punctuality, but Friday departure from Haridwar is frequently rescheduled.....

Don't know where it is parked.....but yes it stays for 32 hrs from Sat 23:45 to Mon 07:55

Nitish Pandey~ 459 blog postsFrom Bhopal To Haridwar In 3Ac there are total 56 Seats Available in General Quota , While in Tatkal Quota There Are Around 250 Seats are Available Which Very Less People Book Becuase of that there is very high probability of confirmation of waiting ticket , even in current availability 200 - 300 seats usually available (Except Summers )this is the same scenario with every station and even in every class , so either take waiting ticket or book ticket in current availability , there is high chances of getting confirmed ticket , this is the same thing with most of the ac express eg . AP AC Express , LTT - NZM AC Express etc
Has great punctuality but gets delayed during winter by 5 to 6 hrs

Harshad Pavagi~ 5543 blog postsFood is loaded at Igatpuri and Bhopal in both directions. So effectively, lunch is served early and dinner on time! In between though, since the train has less halts, there is absolutely nothing available! Only Tea/Coffee at best!
So better to carry your own food/snacks to keep hunger at bay. Water bottles are not provided so passengers need to carry their own or buy at intermediate stations.
