Recently took this train from Jalandhar to New Delhi. Will rate this train on the following things.
Food: In one word awesome. Far much better than its sister train 12013/12014. I have traveled on both of these trains, but Food is much better in this train. Have uploaded the picture of the dinner served to me. I took the Non-Veg one and was served with Rice, Dal, Chicken Curry, Dahi and Parathas. And lately vanilla flavored ice cream. Food is tasty and sufficient enough. Hence in this case I will rate it as 4/5. Evening snacks is also good, but needs some improvement.

more... Cleanliness is good. In the passenger area, the seats and the surroundings were clean and the OBHS was periodically cleaning the coach. But the toilets were stinking badly and that too there was no water.
Punctuality: The arrival time at NDLS is 1105 pm. But thanks to the passenger due to which the train has to undergo ACP two times, one at Sadar Bazar and another at Aadarsh Nagar. Hence finally the train arrived at 1125 pm, otherwise it was bang on time.
Security: The RPF staff did a very good job, they were periodically manning the coaches. Hence in this case I would rate them 5/5.
Staff: The behavior of the staff was too good, very courteous. Hence would rate them 4/5 in this case.
Railfanning: Well in this case you can capture the beauty of Punjab during the evening time, well that too till Ludhiana because after that it totally dark and not possible for capturing any photos etc. The main attraction is the xing with its sister train 12013 near Sirhind or Sadhoogarh station. During winter capturing the setting sun over the fields of Punjab with flying mist accumulating over them is pure bliss.
So overall experience was good. Would rate it 4/5. My take is that it is much better than its sister train 12013/14 in all aspects.

Punctuality: The train was supposed to arrive at NDLS at 11:05 pm. But because of the passengers, the train had to stop two times at Sadar Bazar and Aadarsh Nagar. So it finally arrived at 11:25 pm, but it was on time otherwise.
Security: The RPF (Railway Protection Force) staff did a great job. They were keeping an eye on the coaches regularly. So I'd rate them 5 out of 5.
Staff: The staff's behavior was really good, very polite. So I'd give them a 4 out of 5.
Railfanning: Well, you can enjoy the beauty of Punjab in the evening, at least till Ludhiana. After that, it gets dark and it's not possible to take any photos. The main attraction is when this train crosses its sister train 12013 near Sirhind or Sadhoogarh station. During winter, watching the setting sun over the fields of Punjab with mist flying above them is pure bliss.
Overall, it was a good experience. I'd rate it 4 out of 5. In my opinion, it's much better than train 12013/14 in every aspect.
