Although it's written in our website that On-board Catering is available in this train, in reality it's not the case. My friend recently has traveled in this train from SBP to HWH (DOJ: April 2, 2017). He was traveling in coach no A1, which comes in SBP slip part. Assuming the fact that this train is having On-board Catering, he didn't buy anything food items apart from some biscuits and chips from SBP. There was not a single person who turned up take the dinner order. Moreover no local vendor was even found selling tea or evening snacks. And by the time, he informed me about his situation, it was too late to make order for E-Catering. Finally, he could buy his dinner once the train reached ROU after 10 pm. in case if you are traveling in this train from SBP, and you don't want to wait until 10 pm, please carry your own food with you. (Although I don't know whether the train actually has catering and that particular day was an exceptional case. Anyway, it's always better to take precautionary measure.)
Jan 27 2014 (7:22PM) If you are visiting Jagdalpur, there are 2 phenomenal waterfalls within an hours drive: Chitrakot Falls & Tiratgarh Falls Definitely worth visiting !!

Best train to see the beauty of Koraput - Rayagada section, which is loaded with Tunnels, tall bridges, thick forests, hills, vast agricultural lands, village tribes, animals ... i mean the train route from Koraput to Rayagada is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. you are visiting Jagdalpur, there are 2 phenomenal waterfalls within an hours drive: Tiratgarh Falls & Chitrakot Falls (dont forget to take the boat ride here). Definitely worth visiting !!
