Want to travel to chennai from sbc and its a last minute travel with no confirmed ticket in hand ..just book a sleeper ticket from sbc to mas in sangha..no matter what the RSWL , just book it , the ticket will CONFIRM...and also the chart for this train prepares quite late , so dont think twice ..just book the ticket..

there is not a single WL ticket for any class between sbc n mas ...that clearly states everything confirms in this sector in this train...

but its very tough to get further tickets for ngp jbp mgs till pnbe too much demanding train
but sure shot tickets to MAS when brindavan and chennai intercity runs jam packed ..
the only thing behind this is it is the only daily connectivity from sbc-mas to cities like patna ald mgs
Please watch out for the correct train number from the board or listen to announcements very carefully if you are boardign this train at Chennai Central- since 12296 from Patna often reaches late there is always chance that both the up and down trains meet up at chennai Central and its very difficult to make out which side its heading as both have loco reversals
12296 is Bangalore bound(Via Katpadi, jolarpettai) and 12295 is Patna bound(Via Vijayawada, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur) Express
This reminds of 12840 and 12839 meeting at VSKP, if 12840 is delayed and 12839 arrives BT.

This reminds me of an old Sardarji joke. A sardarji boards GT Exp at Madras bound for New Delhi. At Nagpur by mistake gets on in to Madras bound GT. They used to meet at NGP those days. He gets on to his top berth. Around Wardha he asks his co-passenger when will the train reach Itarsi. Then he learns the train is bound for Madras. He says great Indian technology the upper berths are going to New Delhi and lower berths to Madras.

also both will stand at adjacent pf sometimes ,and there is no coach indicator board at MAS,which can show train no and coach no
same confusion at nagpur with gt express , one going to chennai and one going to mas , but here delhi going train will always be pf 1 and one going to madras will be at platform 2
