Please try the food of the Pantry by this train. Very good food. Catering done by Deepak Caterers. The best part is the pantry people strictly do not overcharge and quote proper rates and give good quantity food. Probably the Ethics of Thirukkural have inspired them. :)
Breakfast- 2 pieces of cutlet and 2 slices of bread with liberal butter applied for Rs. 30.

1 Packaged Drinking water glass
3 Parathas

1 Curd (not watery but thick curd)
You can just imagine how full the tray was :)

Tea for 10rs with Marie biscuit.
Along with Rajdhani like speed and very less scheduled halts thirukkural SF is truly worth travelling in.
Coaches are a bit old but decently maintained due to OBHS.
Even though I travelled in Sleeper in hot summer months the ethical behaviour of pantry persons along with good food made my trip very pleasant. I missed a meal as I was fed up with pantry service, but this train revived my faith. Will definitely suggest members and railfans to try this train.
