I traveled by this train on 19.8.2015, in a Second Sitting Coach No D4. I noticed that the adjoining Coach No D5 was better with broader seats and better ventilation. The D4 coach is very old and is very uncomfortable to sit or travel. The windows have a very small opening, restricting the air circulation, specially when the train travels through the viaducts which are more than 20 along the route and the diesel engine fumes and smoke smell remains in the coach for a long time and its very uncomfortable to breath, due to lack of proper ventilation in the compartment.
This...
more... is also true for all trains on this route in non-air conditioned coaches. The railways need to look into this issue and find a way to make the travel less hazardous for the passengers.

D4 coach is hella old and super uncomfortable. The windows barely open, so we couldn't get any fresh air, especially when the train went through those long-ass viaducts. The diesel engine stink stays in the coach for so long, it's hard to breathe. This goes for all non-AC coaches on this route. The railway guys need to deal with this and make the ride less dangerous for us passengers.
