It is interesting to know that SWR is running a SMVB BGKT Express via ASK CTA BYC HPT UBL route, which is 200 kms longer than shortest route via DVG UBL (I am talking about YPR MRJ section, and covers SMVB MRJ in 16 hours 45 minutes. 957 kms. Why can't our Chalukya travel in ASK CTA BYC HPT UBL route instead of occupying YPR platform for hours? Will improve connectivity.

SR not willing to delay departure of this train. CR not willing to accept early. So SWR become casualty. Why can't SWR run in longer route, but providing connection from Chitradurga, Ballari etc to Mumbai.
TT can be: YPR 0430, ASK 0710 RRB 0940, CTA 0930 BYC 1230 HPT 1330 UBL 1600 BGM 1815 MRJ 2030.

SWR can use YPR platforms to run a YPR Mumbai SF. Can easily extend UBL DR as YPR DR with YPR DEP 0830 UBL 1530 MRJ 2115 DR 0700. Make UBL DR as 22 coach train for avoiding seat quota issues.
