Personally I wouldn't believe it unless there is actual confirmation regarding the same !
1. If extended this train would be a boon for the people of the BKSC-DHN people.
2. However a new train would have been beneficial, as this lot of trains get loaded from HTE itself.

All routes available from GAYA are also available from DHN.
PPTA-CPR via GAYA-PNBE is impractical because RR at PNBE isn't a practical possibility. Going via Rajgir from GAYA would be counter-productive, but that route is also available from DHN.
Routes via DDU-BSB are also available from DHN.
There are also routes like DHN-CPU-PRYJ available more easily from DHN.

instead of ANVT , NDLS should be chosen for VB.. this VB can depart at 5:50 in the morning just like AADR VB ...
ANVT is very far off for half of Delhi... South , West and Suburbs like GGN , FDB , Bahadurgarh , Reethala .. will face huge difficulty while catching this train.. moreover ... Short haul taxi charges will create a mess further...

I beg the newspapers not to call it a 'semi high speed' train. The British had faster coal hauled trains than what would run on this route. The Pink City MG Express was faster than AY-BSB route as of now. This route barely touches 100 kmph [the mps of GKP-LKO VB on this route] and goes even worse post AY towards BSB. An average of 60 kmph doesn't make anything a semi high speed in this era.
For them VB means "semi high speed" and they call it like that.... but ur point is considered.... anything can be done in that section??? Like trying to increase the MPS??? Something???
They have improved it significantly. Significant parts of it are now doubled and whole route is electrified now. The shitty part is only the mps which is low. They are improving the yard remodelling section at Barabanki NR as of now which might optimize that section a bit more. This has led to large scale cancellation of trains on NER side though for a month.
Yeah I've seen that cancellation of those trains and some being diverted too... God knows where this is gonna lead to....😑😑
