According to me, increasing the frequency of 12741/42 would not be feasible until the pitline at Vasco is built because, as of now, 12741/42 is sent to Madgao pitline for maintenance. As a resident of Vasco, I have only seen Goa Express and Vasco-YPR in the pitlines at Vasco. These two trains come back in the morning and block the two pitlines for any other train. Similarly, Vasco-Salimar is also sent to Madgao, as I have personally seen Vasco Salimar's empty rake crossing Madgao and going towards Vasco.

I also had another idea to remove the role of SWR from 07309/10 by starting and ending the train at Madgao. The functionalities and services of Konkan Railway are so efficient and better than SWR, and the chances of SWR becoming the roadblock in this train's regularization are too high. The chances of Konkan Railway listening to passenger requests are much higher.

The reason you see empty rakes of VSG trains at Madgaon is because they are sent to Savordem for parking due to space constraints at Vasco Da Gama.
Konkan Railways are so efficient that they have delayed this train by 2 hours before Panvel itself and now 12741 is running ahead of this special train.
And no this train should run from Vasco Da Gama few others terminating at Madgaon. Why should every Goa bound train terminate at MAO.

CDO with a single pitline and no automatic coach washing undergoes PM of more rakes than MAO CDO with 2 pitlines and automatic coach washing. There must be a reason why Railway have not MAO PM of a single train after Konkan Kanya, Mandovi and those Diwa trains. And KR is so efficient that they don't even have funds for track doubling one of the highly congested single line in IR.
