क्या कारण है कि जयपुर-बांदीकुई-अलवर-मथुरा-आगरा कैंट होकर ट्रेन नहीं दी जा रही हैं वहीं जयपुर-बांदीकुई-भरतपुर-आगरा होकर ढेर सारी स्पेशल चलाई जा रही हैं । क्यूं श्रीगंगानगर-गुवाहाटी ट्रेन को अलवर-मथुरा होकर नहीं दिया। क्या दूरी ही एकमात्र कारण है, या कमजोर राजनीति अथवा रेलवे की अलवर-मथुरा रेलखंड के प्नति नेगेटिव सोच झांसी-जयपुर ट्रेन जैसे प्रस्ताव भी चलने नहीं दे रही है

yes lot of busses available. no issues. just 15 to 20 mins
From MMM, Less Public Transport Only. Best Thing Deboard at RMD.
Take train upto Madurai. From there, you have round the clock buses to Rameshwaram 4 to 4.5 hours.
There will be one or two Government buses right outside Mandapam railway station coinciding with the arrival of regular trains. Else you will need walk upto the town bus stop which is 1 km away from where buses towards RMM will be available at regular frequency.
Recommend getting down at Ramanathapuram (similarly the bus station/depot is situated on the Main road right outside the railway station) where you will have no issues getting a seat.
