If you are a cleanliness freak I think you would have to avoid IR as a whole. The word doesn't exist in IR's dictionary. Basically we Indians don't give much importance to hygiene or cleanliness.
Absolutely 10 on 10. My family won't travel in train but me alone for the same reason. For a rail-fan like me it is unfortunate.
IR gives the train clean its we Indians who makes the trains dirty
