This train should run on Saturdays for Yesvantpur-Mangalore(16565) route and Sundays for Mangalore-Yesvantpur(16566) route, as the maximum number of passengers can benefit this train, if the timing & days are revised. Departure from Yesvantpur shall be revised to 6.30PM to Mangalore on Saturdays and 2PM from Mangalore to Yesvantpur on Sundays, in order to get maximum benefit to the passengers with most convenient timing, without disturbing the timings of other trains and enough gap between other Bangalore trains. Moreover, this train shall run via Dharmapuri/Hosur line from Salem, instead of Tiruppattur/Bangarapet line which will consume around 40km extra distance and additional 1 hour, which will also ease traffic congestion on busy Chennai Bangalore line via Bangarapet, eventhough just for one day in a week.
