#budget1997 gave gift of rajdhani to #konkan railway
Nizamuddin-Trivandrum Rajdhani Express to be diverted via Konkan Railway. Thus, an exclusive Rajdhani Express for Goa and Kerala.
Mangala Express to be diverted via Konkan Railway and to be extended upto Ernakulam to provide new service from Ernakulam to Delhi. Travelling time from Delhi to Ernakulam reduced by more than 12 hours.

I have one doubt here?
Distance travelled by Mangala Express is 2763km
Distance traveled by Millenium Express is 2807km
Difference is only 44KM. Then how 12hours is saved by diverting it via Konkan? and all trains which are not via Konkan have travel time less that Mangala express(which is alos SF)...

Now there is a need for a seperate Goa rajdhani.
IR should start a new biweekly rajdhani betn Vasco to New Delhi.

No signs of bi-weekly Premium Special between Delhi-Madgaon this summer.
I hope that premium never materialises. Instead Rajdhani from Delhi to Vasco is needed no more trains terminating at Madgaon.
Mangala has more no. Of stops than millennium... If u r consider MAJN... Then u will get the actual time difference...
