Hello everyone.
I have a plan to travel on circular journey ticket.
The route is Bangalore - Ahmedabad - Udaipur - Dehli - Bareilly - Lucknow - Bangalore. I am planning to buy tickets in 3A. There is a problem here, Ahmedabad - Udaipur and Bareilly Lucknow comes under MG and there is no 3A class. According to rules i can buy circular tickets for 3A and pay the base difference for 2A. my question now is where am i suppose to pay the difference fare, is it while taking circular tickets
...
or while booking the tickets at PRS...?
Have anyone else booked circular ticket before at Bangalore..?
Waiting for the response.. :)

As far as I know you can book circular tickets for the entire route for 3 Ac. When you approach the tickets for individual sectors at the PRS you can get 2 AC tickets and pay the excess fare directly to the clerk.

you have to first book the CJT by paying the base fare for 3A. while reserving for specific train section you can upgrade for 2A and in reservation ticket you will be charged for difference of fare, reservation and superfast surcharge.
