Disco Mix!! Mumbai Duronto's stormy blast past Andul, Uluberia, Mecheda, Panskura, and more..
.
.
Enjoy the music along with the high speed blasts by the fastest connectivity in the Mumbai- Kolkata route!! In this video, you will sight the major skips done by 12262 Howrah (HWH)- Mumbai C.S.T. (CSTM) A.C. DURONTO Express with 22303 HWH WAP- 4 in the Santragachi- Kharagpur stretch.
...

First, we speed past Andul station after clearing all the points, which are of utmost importance to link the Santragachi- Kharagpur trunk line with the A.C.C. (Additional Chord Connector) Andul/ Santragachi- Dankuni/ Dum Dum branch line. Second on the list comes the skip of Uluberia station, which is the halt of a few Expess trains. The important station has a permanent speed restriction, which forced the high priority train to somewhat slow down. Again gaining momentum, we simply crush the curvy Kulgachia station, which is a hot- spot for Kolkata railfans (Like me) for the high speed action of the train racing past the massive curve. As our uninterrupted run continues, we are again forced to slow down at a restriction imposed on the Damodar river bridge, before gaining enough momentum to thrash Mecheda station. Mecheda is yet another important station enroute, which bears the huge responsibility of parking the numerous coal laden freights, which come for providing resources to the adjoining Kolaghat Thermal Power Plant, situated on the banks of Rupnarayan river. Roaring ahead towards Kharagpur, we gallop a station named "Narayan Paaakuria Murail". Yes, the name of the station is way bigger than the station itself. Yet the significance of this station is that it is the pen-ultimate station before Panskura Junction while heading towards Kharagpur. And all the Digha and Haldia bound trains (From Howrah/ Shalimar/ Santragachi side) skips Panskura station by taking a bye-pass right after the Narayan Pakuria Murail station. Panskura Junction is undoubtedly the biggest station on the Howrah- Kharagpur stretch. It is not only a big town, but also an important Junction, where the branch lines coming from the industrial port town of Haldia, and the sea shore tourism town of Digha comes to meet the branch line. Yet the Duronto, in its usual avatar, simply ignores the station, and heads towards its ultimate destination.
Song used in the background is Basshunter's "I Miss You".
