Those who are visiting / coming to Bangalore / Karnataka
As you are aware tomorrow is Election day in Karantaka. Many buses ( city buses as well as KSRTC buses ) have been assigned for election duty. There might be shortage of buses in many routes.
How ever autos are spared.. u can get good number of autos.

Very true. there was constant announcement at Mysore city & suburban bus stand on shortage of buses due to election and assignment of buses. Most of buses on short journey to neighbouring taluk and even long distance interstate buses were pulled off and load on very few available buses was very heavy. The situation will continue till Friday as many buses will reach respective depot's late on Thursday and may not have sufficient staff to take them out on Friday. by Saturday this should be normal.
Yesterday afternoon itself I waited for 20 mins at Corporation for a bus to Jayanagar- it was completely shocking as buses generally zip past towards Jayanagar at this hour- Later I skipped 2 buses on 25A and one 18 before I could get into another 25A
RT Nagar> Kawal Byrasandra, V Nagenhalli, LR Bande, Sultan Palya.....
buses are assigned from yesterday afternoon itself. they have to reach respective booth by evening for safety of EVM and polling personals. They have to arrange their food and other necessities also on their own. In rural setup the villagers help but semi urban setups are the difficult ones.
True- yesterday evening around 4 itself saw some buses heading to poll booths- Ka-53-F-111 from Banashanakri depot on 214D was one of those buses
