Do i need to give a special description of the famous Loco Shed?
Alright, a small brief one.
Started way back in 1982's, held a few Electric Locos, which were mainly for the Dandakarnya Region aka the Kottavalasa - Kirandul Section, to haul the freight, as the Diesels were causing bit problematic to the crew.

WAG-6 first indian loco with 6000+ hp going into is a heart breaking issue
Yes, it can, but not now. can't even predict about the near future too.
But, a WAP-7 is more than enough for this section.

Yes, i have read this report quite long time back.
The problem is Railway Board wasn't able to get the stock necessary for WAG-6's as their cost were beyond their reach n hence, had to restrict it to VSKP region.
The later prototype Thyristor, VCD, Microprocessor to later generation Locos of IR is bit taken modified from these ABB products.
