A good example that shows how Kerala and its hallowed population of Malayalees are dedicated to the ideals of socialism are its trains. Outside Kerala you...

Great decision from SR....Lot of trains lost their credibility due to these stoppages in between 10 to 20 km, In my childhood I used to travel only Vanchinad exp which had only one stop between KTYM and TVC ie QLN and now it became like a Passenger. Trivandrum-Jodhpur exp (now KCVL-Bikanir) skips Shornur junction initially. The trains from TVC should stop Kollam, Kayamkulam or Chengannur then Kottayam in between Ernakulam. Due to the interest of Politicians all these stops introduced. Try more intercity, passenger and EMUs instead of this. Not only in Kerala SR removed lot of unwanted stops in TN also kudooooooooos to IR…..brave move

yes, very true.. Express trains should be like express trains, not like passengers..Now if IR can take some more bold decisions like reducing unnecessary stoppages in bihar and UP then it will be more beneficial for railways, it will reduce the delays occuring in almose every train!!

Its not a good decision.. Becuase an express train has average speed 45-50kmph and SF has 55kmph... Kerala express has 60kmph as its average speed, means no need to remove its stoppage... Athallathe Tamilnadu express enna name'l Tamilnadil oreyoru stop ulla trainine kalum Nammude Kerala express king alle... Keralathil evde nirttiyalum 100 perengilum kerum... Athupoleyalla Tamilnadil... So SR should rearrange the time table...
