The new Railway Time Table will now come into effect from September 1 instead of July 1 this year.
Keeping in mind the possible announcement of new trains in the Rail Budget, to be presented on July 8, railways have decided to come out with a new time table in September.
“The new Railway National Time Table ‘Trains at a Glance’ and Zonal Railway Public Time Table will now come into effect from September 1, instead of July this year,” said a senior Railway Ministry official.

There is no guaranty that all the new trains, frequency increase, extensions mentioned in the interim budget will find place in the main budget.If they do not find place, they will not be implemented.
