Visited Mathura for Yamuna Mela.
Didn't want to miss my chance of RFing by the MG RailBus.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asked my mom whether she is interested. She said YES.
So we got up early in
...
the morning arrived at the starting & terminating location of the MG rail bus which is outside the MTJ station at about 500 meters on the right side. You would see a small shed under which this bus takes rest over night.
It was about 6:15 am. By the time we reached, there were lot many Sadhus and Beggars waiting for the same.
The rail bus was inside the shed with its engine started but entry for passengers was not allowed.
At 6:25 an interim LP pulled the Railbus out of the shed on to the PF and opened the doors.
People flooded into it and occupied their seats so did we.
As it was 6:30 am staff started to come in. One LP, One Mobile Gateman, One TTE & one Asst. LP.
Sharp at 6:35am the bus started moving gracefully to Brindavan.
On its course towards Vrindaban through the city, the bus would stop at several places from where the passengers can get in. Mostly at railway gates, as the bus must stop as the mobile gateman would hop off to close the gate and hop on after opening it once the bus crosses the road.
Once the bus crosses the city the LP accelerates the bus to the speed of 45 kmph and would cruise at this speed for the last 5 kms. Otherwise always below 20 kmph.
I took ride by the ALP's seat to capture the video which I already posted. The LP advised us to get down at the railway gate just before the Vrindaban station. So we got down and proceeded towards the Brij Bihari Temple.
I have posted the video of the MG rail bus crossing this spot where we got down in this blog.
The ride was thrilling as people fight for seat even though its just a 30 minute ride. They ended up quarreling me for seat in high tone.
So I said, you request for a seat don;t demand for it. If you request, I would be ready to give my seat away to you. But if you demand in high tone, I would not let you put your hand on my seat.
But as I moved to the ALP's seat, they eventually got the seat.
