Amazing transition in 18-19 months.
.
today i saw one old blog of mine in early 2012
I didnt knew a lot about wdp4 or lhb then , so wanted to remember good'ol days...
previous
...
to iri , i had just seen some great pics in irfca through their open line in 2010 and orkut had a railfanning group where railfans posted pics by akshay gupta , ankit bharaj of tkd and bgkt wdp4...
when i joined iri in late 2011, i found it very interesting obviously,
that time users were very few compared to now .. and there was lot of interaction among existing members..i remember full names of each and everyone , whereas now-a-days, we have to see id to read first name ...
there were lot of trip reports as well , which also increased learning,.
there were no categories. I think categorisation wasnot even needed because number of blogs in one day was low, so there was no congestion.
there was no restriction on pic posting, admins and members shared pics freely, which i think was great and provided more learning environment to new members like me.
in same time , admins shared pics of lhb rakes of sampoorna kranti standing at yard..
it was so fascinating to see brand new coaches of totally new type being given to superfast trains having same livery as rajdhani exp , hence they were very attractive...
so, in 6 months there was so much info being shared by admins/members that I got lot of info about LHB and WDP4 class....
various site links were shared which i have bookmarked even now.
then i could find info myself on net.
slowly slowly new changes were made and lots and lots have changed now, and even more changes will come in future , but i would say "OLD IS GOLD"
