"Trap Set" - not the most confidence boosting text to read on railway tracks. Dunno why the concerned department had to use the word "TRAP SET" for their works.
A 2-3 days back, similar blog was posted.
No wonder, i never found these markings here. Maybe i missed them.

The whole track alignment is called a set, can be called a "Switch Set" or a "Trap Set". Trap set is similar to a derailing switch i have found it written as Trap Set/derailing switch in many places. Thats a single rail switched to lead out and make the train derail while the other rail has no switch arrangement.
