For Passengers visiting CMC Hospital Vellore, De-board at KPD and can hire an Auto for Rs. 70 /-(Bargained for 1 passenger) which may go up to 150 for 4 Passengers and Heavy Luggage as well... Also has an option to Catch the City Bus from the Main Road which is just a 100 feet walk from the Main Entrance... Bus Nos: 1 and 2 which runs upto Bagayam via CMC Hospital for just Rs. 4/-...

In a week 4 days on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday there are weekly trains to tirupati from katpadi at 5.30am and DEMU service is there daily at 6.15 am. Regarding bus service outside station you will get buses to chittoor regularly apart from direct buses occasionally. Road is in average condition till chittoor and further its good.
What's the travel time from KPD to TPTY by Bus considering i need to change Bus at Chittor due to non availability of direct bus/larger waiting time??
Sorry, I'm living in Eastwards of this station i.e near WJR and have appropriate routes over there. But, one thing which for sure is, Kaveri Exp mostly doesn't run on time. Hence, when you arrive at KPD, it should be convenient for you wait for 57404 KPD-TPTY DEMU, rather than Say you arrive 5am max, catch a Public transport, reach New bus stand, then catch Tirupati bus which won't make that convenient journey...
Thanks for your info. Now i think, i should stick to my plan to board TVC-NZM SF (12643) @ 5.30 am. Allready booked with telescopic benefit but WL/17,18.
