I am not mentioning KDGH. I am not mentioning a station. I am mentioning some villages & towns which end with Halli & Palli.
What I mean to say is Language will not be a barrier in the bordering villages & towns. For those places we cannot apply generalization.
EX:
HSRA- Hosur is a Kannada name which means New Town. But this town is in Tamilnadu.

Another notable and a very popular example cum exception is - Tirupati.Tiru in Tamil means Sacred/Holy. :)
If Tirupathi is converted in to Telugu it would become Sripathi. Similarly Tirumala will become Srimala.
