Patiala station is 'A' category station. It has amenities like, Paid toilets, 2 Water coolers one at PF 1 and other at PF 2, High level platforms, FOB with cover, drinking water basins at a set distance for to be available for all coaches, portable food vendors selling bread pakodas and poori etc, a fixed shop for all stuffs like, chips, cold drinks, etc. owned by IRCTC. enough sitting benches with fans under the entire shed. mobile charging points, a electronic coloured train information board, a non- AC retiring room, enough space for parking, ATM, etc, soon there'll be LED monitors at PF 1 for information display, and IVR or electronic announcement system already there.
