these are all silly ways to solve problems.
first thing to be done is to make all busy trains run with 24 coaches. still many trains have only <20. secondly, railways need to run more trains on peak days and peak times. currently, new trains are added just for the sake of adding a new train without thinking. there are way too many trains running empty.
instead of inconveniencing passengers by coming up with silly solutions, it is time to replan all non-occupied trains

yes, it could be the better idea, also IR should run more intercity express trains to connect two major cities with distance less than 500.
major cities of less than 500km should have trains like bhopal shatabdi connecting them. before making bullet trains, we need to have major cities connected by trains that travel at 80-100 kmph.
Instead of replacing sleeper railway can introduce 2-3 charicars(Non-AC Pushback seats) for wait listed passengers. This will benefit WL passengers who travels in unreserved compartments.
IR should be operated ordinary Inter-City Expresses which shall be utilized by the common people for the short distance around 50 km also.SF Inter-City Expresses patronage is very poor due to high fares in the short distance travel.
Example..Trichy-Tirunelveli Inter-City SF EXPRESSES .If this train operated as ordinary expresses patronage may be increased by 50 %.
