Considering that a vast amount of travel between Kolkata-Kerala sectors is also patronised by migrant workers, it would have been better if counter reservation was also allowed. Many of them may not be aware of online reservations. This would only encourage agents to charge a premium apart from the extra premium which the customer is anyways paying.

You mean booking cannot be done???It isn't that booking clerk calculates the fare its the system which calculates the fare..The actual blogger was mentioning giving a option of booking the premium tickets would be helpful.
