If its urgent to travel from Chennai to Bangalore and dont have direct train at the time ....take any train towards Jolarpettai and get down at VANIYAMBADI or AMBUR (Kovai Exp has no stop at Vaniyambadi).......Many buses plying on Asian Highway 45 (AH45) will take you to Bangalore via Krishnagiri, Hosur in 2h 30min to 3hr.

But still no one will be able to reach Bangalore from vaniyambadi in 3 hour.
Why not take a bus straight away? There are plenty plying.
When the DD option was non existent, and the early morning trains like Kaziranga ran late, a cheap option was to take Kovai till JTJ and then take Sheshadri exp which literally arrives as Kovai leaves JTJ
Or we can take DHN ALLP and then take Seshadri if the passenger doesnt mind waiting. Buffer time would be more.
Buffer time would be more so will the suffering. Its Dhanbad Allepey after all. :)
