This Rail budget doesnt seem to present new zones e.g a new zone to AP. Everything would remain the same and Vizag will be left for the perennial step motherly treatment in the hands of BBS. Recently I travelled by VSKP-SHM superfast express and to my surprise most of the coaches are atleast 10 years old and very poorly maintained. A very bad train to travel.

unofficial information from rly officials is that 1 zone from howrah (has 2 zones) to be transferred to bubaneswar and ecor to vskp with little modifications, and 1 zone to ahmedabad from mumbai (has 2 zones). They think that it will not give chance for the other states to raise zone issue.
