Grievance Description : Sir, Dhanbad being a natural resource enriched town of Jharkhand but there is no any direct train from Dhanbad to New Delhi . We face great difficulty in getting reservations in passing through trains. Please provide a direct superfast train from Dhanbad to New Delhi in the 2015 railway budget. Your early reply in consideration is highly solicited. Regards, Niket Karan
Current Status : CASE CLOSED
Date of Action : 23 Jan 2015
Details : My dear Niket, We appreciate your concern for the train ex-DHN to NDLS. For your information, it is reiterated here that the division is sending proposal for direct train to Delhi for last four years regularly. As you are aware that introduction of trains depends of resource availability and many other issues. Trains for Delhi is already available in the route and many trains are comparatively less utilised except Rajdhani. However, this year also, we have recommended the same from division.

already a tri-weekly BGP-ANVT garib rath exp is running between bgp and delhi.the connectivity of bhagalpur-delhi is superb as there are daily preimere trains like vikramshila and bramhputra mail beside 6 other trains to delhi.rajdhani via bgp is an old demand made by business community of Bhagalpur and Munger.every government has its own agenda and poltical motive great example is dhn-hwh double decker.if mot rajdhaniir should introduce a ac train for delhi from all important cities of respective states.in india railway developemet is capital centric so all the problem arises.duronto wont be feaisble for small cities.
