The Departure time is very odd but this is one of the comfortable trains because it is an overnight journey.
Here are some of the tips based on my experience:
1. I traveled in the B4 coach which was the old red livery ICF AC coach. This was my first experience in this type of coach and I felt that the jerks were more. The interiors were OK and not so great.

Toilets: Toilets were very well maintained and liquid soap was provided in each one.
3. Cleanliness: This train is very clean and well maintained. The housekeeping guys come to clean the coach after you cross Chiplun.
4. Food: Water bottles are available even in the night after departure, up til Panvel. Tea is served along with a complimentary pack of marie biscuit.
5. Reservation Tip: If more tickets are available and you have a choice, avoid B6,B7,B4,A3,A2 as these are the red liveried coaches with less comfort. The others are Duronto liveried coaches.
