Dipanjan Das 708 blog postsI Traveled By This Train [ Started From CST On Saturday And Reached Calcutta This Morning]. I Must Say It's A Terrific Train. People Talk About Duronto, Gitanjali, Gyaneshwari...But This Train Doesnt Lack Far Behind Than The Other 3. During Its Run It Maintained A Terrific Run.... It Reached Nagpur 20 Mins Before Schedule, Bilaspur 10 Mins Before Schedule & Howrah 10 Mins Before Shedule. Through Out The Journey, On Board House-Keeping Team Ensured Absolute Cleanliness, Fragrance & Hygiene. Only Negative Aspect Was The On Board Catering Team. I Dont Know Whether They Were From IRCTC Or MEALS ON WHEELS [ They Were Men In Green]... They Are Cheaters & Liars...... On Every Train [ I Witnessed It In Gyaneshwari, Gitanjali & Falaknuma] On Board Catering Staffs Offer Biscuit With Coffee..... Over Here They Didnt [ Even On Demand], Though They Charged The Same i.e INR 10/-... Also They Were Rude...

Why didnt complaint about this to the catering manager in PC. He is bound to help you, and if he doesn't, then simply ask him for bill for whatever you have taken.
But if he doesn't agrees to make a bill, then call 1800-111-321. Complain on this number with the train number and everything. I am 100% sure the pantry manager will come running to you with "sorry" on his face.

12869/12870 Mumbai - Howrah Weekly Express's pantry guys are very much decent & offer good food at reasonable rates.

You're Right...I Traveled By That Train Once....And Probably The Best Pantry Service & Staff I Witnessed In That Train Only [ Barring Rajdhani & Duronto]
No, You are wrong. Howrah Bombay Mail via Nagpur Has Really Good Service. My Mother and My Father was Travelled in This Train in 1989
