hi all i am having a 3AC Ticket on 1093 Mahanagri express on 20/12/2009.
my PNR no is 8460119722 it's current status is WL-12 any chance of confirmation or i should cancel it ?.

but sir....on cancelling he wont get his full money backk....he'd b charged sum cancellation fee..and also tatkal charges..these both contribute 2 at the max 100 rs..i did the same way when i wanted 2 travel from pune 2 durg..bt due 2 a high waiting list ..i purchased a tatkal ticket(from pune 2 hwh)...and 2 my surprise my ticket of pune-durg was confirmed..andthen i cancelled the tatkal ticket..wcih total refunded me 85 rs
Sir, right you are being wrong at the first place.
In Tatkal also, if one remains Waitlisted, the deduction is only Rs. 20 and not some 20 + Tatkal charges.
If it gets confirmed and one wishes to cancel, he looses the 100% Tatkal premium and 75 % of the General Quota cost.
What you received 85 on you Tatkal cancellation is correct and...
