If you are visiting Tirumala, avoid buying the 300 rupees ticket on Tuesday as locals also get free darshan on Tuesday. It is equivalent to the 300 rupees darshan

1. This on FIRST tuesday of every month only, not all Tuesdays.
2. the number is limited to 5000 persons only. In one hour TTD Temple Authorities can arrange good darshan to a min of 5000 devotees.
