I was trying to book a premium tatkal (PT) ticket from Rourkela to Dadar by 12860 Gitanjali Exp today. IRCTC website kept on displaying something like "Error: Booking not permitted". Then I changed the starting station to KGP, TATA, etc. It allowed
booking PT ticket only from HWH and KGP. From ROU and TATA it was not possible to book.
I tried the same thing from 12102 Gnaneshwari Exp and it allowed booking PT tickets from all the four stations. This is very
confusing....
