during MG era madho singh was a junction station, a line branching out to north bank of ganga river opposite side of mirzapur to a station called chilhe ghat, during my childhood I had seen only one train, arriving at chilhe that to with a steam locomotive.
line marking can be seen on Google's earth, parallel to highway.
but after gauge conversion this branching line was discarded, as it was not affordable to run train to chilhe.....
