Possibility of cellphone/chain snatching, as train literally crawls through this whole section. Many people sit, gamble & drink right over the vacant railway tracks, so keep vigil.

Similar to Allahabad and Nagpur. In my experience Varanasi is the worst where you will get all your belongings stolen in India.
Yes but only 2-3 Trains pass by this station. SDAH to SER Connectors !! Yea The area is actually dead !!
Through here Howrah-Amta locals pass & I'm an unfortunate traveler of those locals... :p
