I have a ticket KGP to SC with boarding at BAM. Boarding point was changed at the time of booking. Is possible to change the Boarding point to any stations before BAM now ? I want to board at BBS.
And a follow up question is if that is not allowed, can I use the same ticket to travel from BBS to BAM in SL class.
The answer probably is NO but wanted to check just in case there has been any rule changes recently.

U simply need Gen Ticket or fresh booking for concerned stations, if booking been allowed!!
With GEN Ticket, u may inform & request TTE as if can travel if berth not been booked for ur Boarding change leg...Totally on TTE discretion..
Even if he nt allow normally, he may collect diff fare & issue receipt!!
