Mandovi Express - the best 5-Star Restaurant in the world

A review of Non-AC dormitory at Pune station.

Since i had to board the good morning killer SC shatabdi from Pune i opted to stay at Dorm (retiring rooms were full and i gave the only AC dorm bed available to my dad). So here's a short review for those thinking on similar line.

1)Is ON the station itself, making it good for those who wish to board early Morning trains.
2)Is very cheap (Rs 120 per person for 12 hours is very cheap indeed, especially when masala dosa downstairs costs 70 :P )
3)washrooms/bathrooms are quite clean.
4)Has lockers if you want to safely keep your bags.
Cons:
1)is ON the station :P the issue with being so close to station is you'll be "treated" to loud honking sounds by alcos and EMD's alike for the entire night. they are VERY loud and since is Pune is a busy station you'll have to put up with it with no respite at all.
2)Has bed bugs (not all beds)
3)the security isn't very tight. the attendant warned us to not keep Mobile phones in open and doze off as those have been stolen in past.
Do keep these in Mind when booking a dorm. if you need a good night sleep and have an early morning train to catch it is advisable to search for rooms in hotels close to station rather than spending the night here.
