I would like to know if there is any kind of specific trick to get auto up gradation because i have been these kind of scenarios 3A - Avail 24 SL - Avail 4 . But still no luck with getting an auto upgraded seat. This has occurred for about 4 times.
when seats are available in all class , thn why upgrade ? ,, auto upgrade tab hota hai jab lower class me kuch pax ka tkt wl he ho nd us se upper class me seat baki ho charting ke time :)
Because I can get a 500rs worth ticket for 140. And I don't speak hindi.. :-(
you need availiablity in higher class while holding a WL ticket in lower class to get it.
i mean to say why IR will do auto-upgrade when seats are available in all class's , auto-upgarde only happen when lower class pax is in WL nd higher class still has some seats at charting time
