Traveled on 22/01/2016 from SC to BKN in 2nd A/C. Catering is available, but not many options available. You get tea a million times throughout the day, but you will not get coffee at all from the Pantry. On Day 2, we got coffee from a station vendor at Badnera, but that tasted more like Tea. For breakfast, you will get Poha/Upma/Idli from the Pantry car (Rs 30/- per plate). No preorders are taken; if you miss your breakfast, you have to depend on the station vendors. Tomato soup was served only once, the PC bearer never returned for the second round, so if you are not around, you will not get it.

Aloo Cutlets at Badnera. Bhusawal will get you Vada Pav, and Shev. Nandurbar has some snacks also.
Ordered dinner on Day 1, Rs 100/- delivered somewhere after Surat - pretty tasty; comparable to TravelKhana. Do get down at Surat station for some tastysnacks sold by platform food vendors.
On Day 2, post Jodhpur, the Pantry car sorts of shuts down, and you are on your own till BKN. Stock up at JU or Merta Road.
