Had a great race, yesterday morning, with the Venkatadri Express between MRM and RE.
I was starting from Harini resort near Mamanduru with my friends after a 97 batch together and an over night stay at the resort. The train with twin diesel locos crossed us at a distance. Few minutes in to the drive, i managed to catch up to the train and started accelerating to catch up to the twin locos. I was already over 100 KMPH speed and nearing 110. i had to take the foot off the pedal couple of times and then speed up to 110 KMPH, but the train kept cruising at 110 and left me behind. I had to stop for the police barricade few kms before the amar raja factor and by then i had completely lost race. It took me another 10 mins to reach the RE railway station and the train was already on the platform.
I wish i had my camcorder handy to capture the exciting race and chugging of the twin diesel locos. Anyways the race was like the cherry on the cake to finish a great weekend with friends.
