But sir I hd lived in Jammu, my Maternal parents were in Jammu only ....Sir Hindi is spoken n listen urdu persist towards upper JK above Katra...
Urdu is state language of JK; but Hindi and Dogri is widely used in Jammu :)

for any region that borders with other states many different languages other than the state one is spoken rather widely.
Here the policy is to go by state language to have uniformity, because for instance if widely spoken langauge becomes parameter the TB's of train from nearly all metros would be in hindi ;)
