When Bullet train will start running in India, in those days airline fares would also be Tripled as compared to present fares.
So People spending 1000 Rs for spending 6.20hrs in Shatabdi can easily spare more 1600 Rs (If its finalized fares) to save 4hrs.
Even if flight is taken Mumbai to ADI, nearly 2hrs is wasted here also.

AFAIK, bullet trains in India after 10 years will be super hit as a lot more people can afford to pay the fare charged.
