Hi, i am travelling on the 18th from chennai to delhi on TN Express, any idea if its a good choice or some other train would have been better. Are the trains still arriving late in delhi?
The train is very good. no doubts. IF (a big if) there is no fog on your arrival date, the train will reach on time.
OTher than fog, the train almost always reaches on time at New Delhi. thanks

which is your connecting train? Todays TN & GT are 630 hrs late (as of now) due to heavy fog once again. Today, at this moment, it is foggy in Delhi. Passengers reading this blog may plan accordingly. thanks.
Oh no that is a bad news, i am going to lucknow with Gomti express and I hope I will be able to catch it in time. May be the situation might be better by the time TN Exp is abt to reach delhi.... hopefully.
dont worry gomti exp also comes late with fogs arriving here. it will also be equally late if not better. you have a very fair chance of getting the train. keep looking in northern railway website - Under Quick View Heading, look for Trains affected - wil give you some indications on the eastern side trains. (arriving from Kanpur side). best of luck.
IF TN is late by 3 -4 hrs dont worry. you can still board Gomti as it is from New Delhi stn only.
